Drop-Shippers

October 15, 2010

Of course when we think about making money online , E-bay or amazon are  usually  taken into consideration.

So far I’ve sold about 5 items on e-bay. A couple of cars and some stuff I really didn’t want to throw away, so I listed It on e-bay.
Having things to sell online  is the problem. After you’ve cleaned the garage and attic and sold all your stuff, what do you do now?
I looked into drop-shippers and wholesalers online and I’ve got to tell you, there are just a slew of rip-off companies out there. They sell you lists of companies and links that are either dead  or out dated.
Some of these sleazy companies look really legitimate, but before you buy a list from them just do quick search on google and see how many complaints there are about them. I like to use ripoffreport.com to check on them also.
I have yet to find any drop-shippers who have prices low enough so I can compete with others who have the same product on E-Bay or Amazon .And people who have or use a dropshipper thats making them money will not tell you or anyone who that company is. Why create more competition right?
If you can find something unique to sell  that would help you a lot. Look on E-bay for a popular item like lets say umm, gloves. There are 272,309 items listed under gloves. I hope your ad will be unique and stand out from the others
Also you have to watch out for the middleman or company  that wants to charge you monthly fees to use their wholesale or drop-ship  services. Why the monthly charge? Because his stuff is either junk and he knows you can’t sell it, or its marked up so high he knows you wont sell it, so he makes his money off of monthly fees.

So to sum up this post ,I havent found any drop shippers I like, But I have found Some Wholesalers ,which I will write about in my next post .
